Senior Oracle ERP Financial Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION

Join the ERP team of a large, well-established retail group that operates hundreds of points of sale nationwide and is in the midst of a strategic digital transformation—including a migration from Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Cloud ERP. The position combines hands-on implementation of financial processes, design and development of new integrations, continuous process optimisation, day-to-day support, and user training—all within a fast-moving retail environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement & optimise Oracle Financial modules (AP, AR, GL, FA) end-to-end—from requirements gathering and functional design through testing and go-live.

  • Design and develop interfaces to external systems (e.g., MASAV payment files, bank statements) and other in-house applications.

  • Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for financial processes and integrations.

  • Train and guide users on new functionalities and best practices; mentor junior consultants within the team.

  • Partner with project managers, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with organisational goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years’ hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA) in Oracle EBS.

  • Deep knowledge of standard financial interfaces (MASAV, local bank file formats, etc.).

  • Proven track record designing & delivering new processes and complex integrations with third-party systems.

  • Ability to write and optimise basic SQL queries for analysis and troubleshooting.

  • Expertise in Oracle EBS versions 11i and/or R12 (mandatory); exposure to Oracle Cloud ERP is a strong advantage.

  • System-wide, process-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, high service orientation, and the ability to lead tasks/projects independently and within a team.

  • Fluent Hebrew (spoken and written) for day-to-day user support; good English for documentation and communication.

Additional Notes

  • This is a 100 % onsite role in Yakum; remote or hybrid work is not available.

  • We seek a consultant who can own complex tasks—beyond routine support—leading new processes and integrations from concept to production.
